NEXEM launched a communication to boost the implementation of the project for “Old Age and Autonomy” presented before autumn 2019 by the French President.
NEXEM, full member of the Social Employers, is the main network representing employers from the not-for-profit social services sector in France. The organisation's aim is to influence public policies to better respond to the changing challenges of the sector.
In January, NEXEM together with 8 French social services organisations called for the implementation of concrete measures in the framework of old age and autonomy. They highlighted the need of a stable timetable and a clear and coordinated reform, providing the adequate funding. Furthermore, NEXEM requests the state to make a long-term commitment to the elderly by presenting the "Old Age and Autonomy" project as soon as possible and working around a share vision.
