Our French member NEXEM together with Hospeem member, FEHAP, has launched a communication campaign highlighting the need to enhance the wages of employees in the social care sector.
The French government has allocated 8.2 billion euros to enhance the wages of professionals working in health care facilities. However, professionals working in home care, the disability field, child protection, integration and legal protection are excluded from the measure.
Through a social media campaign, NEXEM and FEHAP call the French government to reconsider its position and highlight the need to enhance the wages of social care professionals. Both federations want to raise public awareness and give a voice to all those care professionals excluded from the current wage increases.
The campaign will run on Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook, with the hashtag #PourquoiPasMoi
Nexem is the main representative of not-for-profit employers in the social, medico-social and health sector in France, and FEHAP is the reference federation of the private solidarity sector in health.
