The Federation of European Social Employers and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) are organising on the 24th April 2018 the 1st of 3 European Thematic Meetings; which will be used to help agree on a workplan/work programme to be used in a future “test phase” of EU level social dialogue in the field of social services.
The Social Employers represents the voice of employers in the field of social services at European level. EPSU represents 8 million public service workers across Europe.
The three priority areas which have been highlighted as relevant are
- Impact of Digitalisation on Social Services
- Job creation and decent working conditions
- Public Procurement
The 1st European Thematic Meeting will be an opportunity to exchange views, highlight what is being done at national level on these topics and identify what could be done at European level in the context of a test-phase for a sectoral social dialogue committee; if it were to be created in the next year or two.
Participation is on invitation only. If you have not directly received this invitation, but wish to participate, please contact the relevant organisers below.
