NEXEM is the main representative of not-for-profit employers in the social, medico-social and health sector in France. NEXEM represents the interests of 10,000 institutions and services, employing over 300,000 staff.
NEXEM’s members are active in providing care and support services for persons with disabilities, childhood protection, social inclusion, older people and health. Its mission is to (1) modernise social dialogue, (2) act on public policies, (3) re-enforce support for its members and (4) anticipate and act on the sector’s development.
As an employer’s organisation, NEXEM negotiates in the framework of the national collective agreements from 15 March 1966 (CCN 66) and the 1st March 1979; and the CHRS agreements.
NEXEM is a full member of the Federation of European Social Employers.
