On 12 and 13 October, the Social Employers participated in the third transnational meeting of the DDSkills project and in a workshop presenting the DDSkills project and its digital toolkit.
On 22 March, the Social Employers launched together with Unipso, the leading partner, a new project called FORESEE. The project focuses on capacity building of EU and national-level social partners in social services and aims to promote the attractiveness of the sector.
A new Social Employers report aims to showcase the advantages of social dialogue for the social services sector and gather examples and recommendations for setting up such structures.
On 2 December, the Social Employers participated in the kick-off meeting of a new project they are partner of, the Sowell (Social dialogue in welfare services) project. The meeting was hosted online by the project coordinator, the University of Milan’s Department for Social and Political Sciences.
On 3rd November, the project coordinator To Ergastiri hosted online the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in the framework of the DDSkills project.
The report aims are to identify and evaluate existing courses for the development of digital skills in the health and social care domains.
On 19th October 2020, the Social Employers and EPSU co-hosted online the Final Conference of the DialogueS project. The topic of discussion was “Social Dialogue in Social Services for a strong social Europe".
On 5th October the Social Employers together with Margarita and Pepsaee, discussed on the state of play of social dialogue in social services sector in Greece, in an online national event.
On 29th September, the Social Employers together with our Romanian member, FONSS hosted online the 2nd capacity building event to discuss the updates on social dialogue in the Romania social services sector.
On 9th June 2020, the Social Employers and EPSU co-hosted the 3rd European Thematic Meeting in the framework of DialogueS, online in the form of a Webinar. The topic of discussion was “Safe and healthy workplaces in Social Services during and after the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of Social Partners".

On 27th February 2020, the Social Employers and EPSU co-hosted the second European Thematic Meeting in the framework of DialogueS. The topic of the discussion was “How to manage diversity and mobility of the workforce in more attractive social services”.
On 14th February The Social Employers together with Margarita and Pepsae, hosted a national event in Athens on the topic “Social Services and sectoral social dialogue: strengthening the capacity of social partners”.
On 10th December, the Social Employers and EPSU hosted together with their national partner NASO (National Alliance for Social Responsibility) an event in Sofia that discussed the state of play of sectoral social dialogue in the Bulgarian social services sector.
On 27 and 28 January, the Social Employers attended the DDSkills kick-off meeting in Athens. The meeting was hosted by the project coordinator To Ergastiri, a Greek non-profit organisation for the support, counselling and social integration of adults with learning disabilities.
The Social Employers, together with their Romanian member FONSS and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU), hosted a national event in Bucharest on the topic “Social Services and sectoral social dialogue: strengthening the capacity of social partners”.
On 17th October, the Social Employers and EPSU co-hosted a European Meeting on the topic “Socially responsible Public Procurement for Social Services”. Speakers and participants included representatives of Employers and Trade Unions, as well as from European Institutions.
