On 6 October, the Social Employers and EPSU hosted a joint thematic seminar to discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the social services sector and explore concrete actions and measures taken by of social partners to handle the crisis.
On 19th October 2020, the Social Employers and EPSU co-hosted online the Final Conference of the DialogueS project. The topic of discussion was “Social Dialogue in Social Services for a strong social Europe".
After the impact of COVID-19 breakout on the social services sector, the Social Employers together with the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) agreed on a Joint Position Paper on Preparing the social services sector for the COVID-19 resurgence and increasing its resilience.

The report outlines the main characteristics of the Danish social services sector and its different Collective Bargaining Agreements. It focuses on the different forms of social dialogue in social services and key issues that are discussed. Future prospects of social dialogue in social services are highlighted before the report moves to conclusions and recommendations.
