In their General Assembly on 13th February, the Social Employers welcomed two new members and formally agreed to create the Social Employers Observatory. On 14th February, the Social Employers and EPSU held a Thematic Seminar on “Recruitment and Retention in Social Services: Improving the sector’s attractiveness”.
Prague / Is there a future of long-term care in Europe? What can we learn from each other? Answers to those questions were discussed at a high-ranking international summit in Prague. Among the speakers were the President of the Federation of European Social Employers, Gregor Tomschizek, and his Deputy Jiri Horecky who met the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic Adam Vojtech.
The Federation of European Social Employers welcomed new members from France, Finland, Spain and Poland and launched together with the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) discussions in view of establishing a joint workplan at EU level.
The new website provides up-to-date information about the Social Employers to relevant stakeholders; from national social services employers to the European institutions, as well as to civil society partners and professionals working in the social services sector.
